Danny Gokey – Hope In Front of Me Video: This song is from his second full-length album, Hope in Front of Me, was released under the BMG label in June 2014. The album peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Christian Albums Chart. Gokey, a former church music director, gained wide-spread recognition after his participation in the 8th season of American Idol (2009). After his wife died during heart surgery, Danny started a foundation in her name Sophia’s Heart Foundation. The foundation has branches in Nashville, Milwaukee, and Sacramento. Their mission is to provide hope and help to homeless families, provide scholarships to deserving students and operate a thriving inner-city music and arts programs.

I love this song. This song spoke to me in the middle of grief. Last years
around Thanksgiving, I discovered that I was pregnant. Told both sides of
the fam we were so happy. But then, had a miscarriage 6 weeks into my
pregnancy, just 10 days before Christmas. This song came out not too long
after that. I found hope in the middle of my situation through Jesus.
