DC Talk Music: “In The Light” (Remastered Version). This song was featured on their Jesus Freak Album which was released by Forefront Records on November 21, 1995. The album peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums Chart and went on to win the 1997 Grammy Award for the Best Rock Gospel Album.

About DC Talk

This multi-platinum group was formed at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia in 1987 by Kevin Max Smith, Michael Tait (Newsboys) and Toby McKeehan (TobyMac). They were first gospel group to incorporate the hip-hop or the Christian rap sound into their music.

DC Talk became one of the most popular groups in Contemporary Christian Music during the mid-1990s. The group released five major studio albums together. When it was released, their Jesus Freak album sold more copies than any gospel album in history and eventually moved over one million copies.

During their time together, they have won (4) Grammy Awards and (16) GMA Dove Awards.
