Dottie Peoples Music: In this Gospel music video, she sings “On Time God” with Paul Porter.  The On Time God album was released in 1994 and she went on to win 4 Stellar Awards – for Traditional Female Vocalist, Traditional Choir, Album of the Year, and Song of the Year.

As a child, she dreamed of growing up to sing like Mahalia Jackson.  At about age 9, she began singing in church and continued to sing throughout high school.  Her breakthrough came when legendary Gospel Music singer Dorothy Norwood saw her perform in Dayton, Ohio and asked Dottie to go on tour with her.

As a businesswoman, Peoples served as general manager for Church Door Records and hosted her own radio program. In 2008, she founded DP Muzik Group, making her the first African American female artist with her own record label in Atlanta, Georgia.

She has always had a love for people and a passion for sharing the gospel through music. Over the course of her Gospel music ministry, she has garnered more than 50 industry awards and honors.
