Haiti Disaster Relief – Earthship Biotecture:  Recon crew in Haiti: June 30 – July 5, 2010.  Earthship would like to thank everyone who helped provide information, connections, advice and donations for the recon visit to Haiti. As it turned out it was much more than a recon visit… they built a building with the help of forty Haitians from the tent camps – ages four to fifty.

About Earthships

Earthships are the ultimate in green buildings.   They are constructed to use available natural resources such as thermal, solar heating and cooling, solar and wind electricity, contained sewage treatment and recycled materials.  They are also designed to catch and use water from the local environment without relying on public utilities or fossil fuels.
