Health Benefits of Eating Tomatoes:  They’re sweet and juicy, and they’re packed with tons of vitamins and minerals, including beta-carotene, vitamin E, vitamin C and potassium.

Reduce Cholesterol Levels

Protects Skin from Sun Damage

Two different studies (No. 1 and No. 2) have found that eating tomato paste protects your skin from sun damage. It appears as though the antioxidant lycopene, which is abundant in tomatoes, can act as a natural sunscreen from the inside-out.
