MercyMe Performs at Spirit West Coast Christian Music Festival

Christian music band MercyMe was among the headliners at the Spirit West Coast 2016 Christian Music Festival in Ontario, Canada.  The concert was held on June 10, 2016 at the Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario. This family friendly festival included acts MercyMe, Jeremy Camp, and Matthew West.  This popular touring festival, which began in Monterey, California, is now celebrating its 20th anniversary.

MercyMe’s debut 2001 album “Almost There” and the single “I Can Only Imagine” sold more than 2 million copies each. The group’s last album was 2014’s “Welcome to the New,” which hit No. 1 on the Billboard Christian charts and No. 4 on the regular Billboard charts.

According to Tim Taber, founder and president of Transparent Productions, ““A lot of families are looking for quality entertainment that’s not going to be offensive. Spirit West Coast parents can bring their kids — any age — and what’s coming off stage is going to fit with their families’ values.
