Paul was addicted to heroin for 35 years, causing him to spend time in prison and experience homelessness on the streets of Los Angeles. But when his mom was hospitalized in 2010, he asked for her forgiveness and made a promise to get clean.

Today, he has found new life at Union Rescue Mission. Thanks to friends like you, he is just one of the precious people who escaped the danger and despair that run rampant on Skid Row.
