Inspirational Story of Strive Masiyiwa – Richest Man in Zimbabwe, Africa: Many people ask him why he has seen so many things and why the Lord has done so much in his life. Masiyiwa says, “Just after I was saved, I had an amazing hunger for the Lord. I bought a Bible and read it in two weeks flat.”
He goes on to say, “I went looking for everything I could find. Amongst the things I found was an interview of Kathryn Kuhlman being interviewed by Oral Roberts.” Kuhlman was asked why the Lord has done so much in her life. Her response was, “I was prepared to pay the price.” After this Masiyiwa said, “Lord I’ll pay the price.”
About Strive Masiyiwa
He is a Zimbabwean businessman, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. He is the founder and executive chairman of Econet Wireless Group. According to Forbes magazine, Econet has lucrative operations in Zimbabwe, Botswana, Lesotho and Burundi, as well as investments in telecom companies in New Zealand and the United States.
He is a co-founder of the Higher Life Foundation, a charity that provides scholarships and meals to destitute orphans in Zimbabwe. Masiyiwa also supports numerous health and environmental initiatives.
