This silent condition can be the cause to many of your symptoms you are suffering from in your throat, sinus, and ears (tinnitus).
It’s called “Silent Reflux” and this commonly causes cough and frequent throat-clearing. LPR has the name “silent reflux” due to not necessarily triggering the usual symptoms of acid reflux, such as heartburn. The condition develops when the stomach acid travels back through the food pipe and reaches the back of the throat.
