Homelessness is no exclusive club. Ask anyone who comes to the Mission for help, and they’ll say, “No, I never expected my life to be like this.”

But there is hope. Through the faithful support of friends like you, Portland Rescue Mission shines the way home for souls who feel lost and alone.

Free hot meals served by smiling volunteers, safe refuge from the weather, 24/7 restrooms that give dignity — and so much more life-giving care. These emergency services so often open the door to deeper relationships where we learn a hurting person’s name, listen to their story, and offer the first steps toward a new life through our recovery programs.

By working together, we can continue to save lives of men, women and children in our community. God has called us to care for the hungry, the poor, the homeless, the single mothers and the fatherless. Thank you for helping us answer the call.
