Elevate Christian Network :: News and Events
Houston Church News: Twelve young men joined Troop 673 as sixth-graders in 2010 and eventually earned Eagle Scout rank under the guidance of Scoutmaster Robert Bugos. In 2015, only 6.5 percent of Scouts nationwide completed all requirements for the Eagle Scout award. To earn the Eagle Scout rank, the scouts fulfilled requirements in the areas of leadership, service and outdoor skills.
Through Scouting and their Eagle projects, these 12 young men have contributed more than 1,000 hours of service to their communities to benefit a number of organizations, including Brazos Bend State Park, The Brookwood Community, City of Houston Parks & Recreation Department, East Spring Branch Food Pantry, Edith Moore Nature Sanctuary, and St. John Chrysostom Byzantine Catholic Church and Texas Department of Parks & Wildlife.
