Joey and Rory Feek – Christian Country Music:  In this video, the duo performs “When I’m Gone”.  The song was originally recorded for their 2012 album His and Hers, which peaked at No. 24 on Billboard Top Country Albums.  The song was written by Sandy Lawrence, a friend of the duo, when she was losing her mother.

When I’m Gone was included on Joey + Rory’s  Hymns That Are Important to Us album. The single eventually peaked at No. 21 on Billboard Country Chart on November 28, 2015. This was the duo’s seventh and final studio album, was released on February 12, 2016 through Gaither Music Group.

In June 2014, Mrs. Joey Feek was diagnosed with cervical cancer not long after the birth of the couple’s daughter, Indiana.  In October 2015, Rory Feek announced on his THISLIFEILIVE blog that they would be stopping all cancer treatment. And on November 9, 2015, he announced that Joey had entered hospice care.

In his blog post, Rory explained that the family had arranged for a hospital bed to be installed in their home and hospice care will be provided.
