When young Latha’s mother became sick and she found herself with responsibility for caring for her younger brothers, she was forced to drop out of school and begin putting 12-plus hours a day as a laborer at a local matchstick factory.

Then World Vision came alongside her family, helping to provide the resources and encourgement she needed to leave factory work and return to school.
