Abusive relationships were common for Linda. Wanting love and affection, she too often fell for the wrong type of men. Years of violence scarred her with post-traumatic stress, leading to panic attacks, physical ailments, and the inability to keep a job.

At Shepherd’s Door, Portland Rescue Mission’s ministry for women and children, Linda has begun to heal from the root causes of trauma, self-loathing, and fear that drove her to addiction in the first place.

Thanks to your generous support, Linda is now safe and healthy. Linda has HOPE.
