Mahalia Jackson Gospel Album – The World’s Greatest Gospel Singer:  These are all original recordings remastered.  This magnificent album, produced by Geroge Avakian in 1954, brings her together with the Fall-Jones Ensemble.  It was Mahalia’s debut album on the Columbia record label.  It is considered by some to be one of the finest vocal performances ever committed to record.
