About Medair
Medair Humanitarian Aid is an international non-governmental organization focused on emergency relief and rehabilitation. Their stated mission is “to seek out and serve the most vulnerable people affected by crises.” The Medair motto: “Medair brings life-saving relief and rehabilitation in disasters, conflict areas, and other crises by working alongside the most vulnerable.”
Since 1989, they have been active in 27 countries, working in some of the most remote, hard-to-reach places in the world. Their mission is to seek out and serve the most vulnerable people affected by crises, particularly the forgotten men, women, and children who live in difficult-to-access regions in Africa, the Middle East, and Asia.
They are a non-governmental organisation (NGO), with internationally recruited staff who are motivated by their Christian faith to care for people in need. Their work is compassionate and practical, providing life-saving care and support that upholds the dignity and independence of every person, regardless of race, religion, or politics.
