Middle East Snow Storm Hits Jerusalem: According to CBN News, snow is a rare sight in the Middle East. This winter, a major winter storm hit Israel for the first time in years, bringing snow to the city of Jerusalem. The worst winter blizzard in over 50 years left nearly 20 inches of snow on Jerusalem over 3 days. This historic storm stranded thousands of motorists on their way to Jerusalem. More than 35,000 Israeli homes were without power, some for several days. Many Jerusalemites enjoyed the rare sight of their city shrouded in snow.
