Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief: Project HOPE sent a team to Ecuador following the April 16, 2016, 7.8 magnitude earthquake. Teresa Narvaez, HOPE’s country director in the Dominican Republic and a native Ecuadorian, lived near where the video was filmed. HOPE has shipped medical supplies, requested by the Ecuadorian government to the earthquake site.

Project HOPE – Providing Humanitarian Assistance Around the World
Project HOPE now provides medical training and health education, as well as conducts humanitarian assistance programs in more than 35 countries. On average they ship commodities worth $200 million every year. Their team of logistics specialists, pharmacists, and medical doctors work with local health officials to select product and properly follow protocols.
