Rob Riches Workout – Lean Muscle Building Chest Workout:  In this video, Rob focuses on developing lean muscle gains for the rest of this year with the goal of stepping on stage with a thicker, more detailed physique.  He is a UK-born fitness cover model, athlete and competitor, making videos to help inspire, motivate and educate those looking to build a fitter, stronger and healthier body.  Riches is the author of several books and training programs.

Riches says his preferred workout routine, and one that has seemed to deliver the best results over the years, is that of the Weider Principle. He basically trains like a bodybuilder- which means straight sets, and increasing the weight for each set. He usually trains one large muscle group followed by a small group, and spend no longer than about 80 minutes in the gym, from the time he walks in, to the time he leaves.

According to Rob Riches, he trains like this 5 times a week, with one additional day spent focusing entirely again on smaller muscle groups like forearms and calves. He usually spends one day a week away from the gym, where he might throw in a cardio and abs workout in on that day.
