Rob’s Story of Hope | Portland Rescue Mission

When Rob was only 4 years old, he was thrown on his stepmother’s doorstep. “I ran away so many times that it’s impossible to figure out when I was first homeless,” he remembered.

“Thanksgiving and Christmas I have spent in empty houses eating canned food. I thought I was going to die alone.”

Rob found new life at The Harbor. “There’s a lot of love here. I’ve seen hope. Hope is here. Thank you for saving my life.”
