Salvation Army Today – 11.19.2019 – Doing the Most Good Luncheon – Atlanta, Georgia // @sarmytoday
The Salvation Army Metro Atlanta Area Command (MAAC) held its annual Doing the Most Good Luncheon at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, a new venue for the event, which had been held at the Georgia Aquarium for the past several years. More than 300 corporate and non-profit partners, donors, and Salvation Army staff attended.
The focus of this year’s luncheon was a fireside chat with three prominent Atlanta influencers in the areas of homelessness prevention, youth enrichment, and anti-human trafficking—three key areas of focus for MAAC. Panelists included Cathryn Marchman, Executive Director for Partners for H.O.M.E.; Ouleye Warnock, Senior Human Trafficking Fellow for the City of Atlanta; and Ron Clark, Co-founder of the internationally celebrated Ron Clark Academy in Atlanta.
Highlights of the luncheon included a backstage VIP tour and VIP reception on the football field.
