Salvation Army Today – 12.12.2019 – Commissioning of the Messengers of Compassion – Kenya // @sarmytoday

Forty-two new Salvation Army Lieutenants were Ordained and Commissioned in a ceremony held outside in the grounds of The Salvation Army Secondary School in Kakamega, Kenya. These men and women have dedicated their lives, skills, and service completely to God, and will be sent out to serve and share Jesus in different communities.

It was an exciting day filled with lots of celebration, dancing, and singing. Music was provided by different Salvation Army music ensembles. The meeting lasted almost six hours with a short break while the Cadets changed into their officer uniforms and colorful sashes.
