Jesus Christ have given the authority to initiate people to eternal life to the apostolic churches? Comment?
Through out the bible, we can see that people were chosen to execute God’s Will. for example Abraham, Moses, Joshua, David etc, similarly the Apostles were chosen by Jesus Christ. So authority lies with the chosen people. For example even when Gods chosen race had disobeyed him, he did not select another race. he just patiently executed his plans through the faithful. similarly the chosen apostolic church still have the validity to execute God’s plans.

The Apostolic Church is a Pentecostal Christian church which can trace its origins back to the latter rain revival originating in Topeka, KS at the Bible college of Rev. Charles Parham in the early 1900’s. The movement spread from Kansas to Texas and then to Los Angeles, California at the Azusa St. Mission. Its ministry drew people from all over the globe seeking to understand its teachings and the move of the Holy Ghost evidenced by miracles, healings and the baptism of the Holy Ghost evidenced by speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance.
The church seeks to stand for first century Christianity in its faith, practices, and government according to Acts 2:38, 39, “Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the LORD our God shall call.”
Also, Jesus tells His disciples in Matthew 28:18-20: 18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

List of secular colleges that offer religious studies?
I want to study religions and cultures in college, but I don’t want to go to a christian/bible school. I cant find colleges that are secular that study religion. Can you give me a list, or give me a place where I can find them??

Hello Mandy,
A number of secular, private liberal arts colleges offer majors in religion. A few examples are Lawrence University (Wisconsin), Grinnell College (Iowa), and Occidental College (California). You can find a list of good liberal arts colleges, narrow it down to those in which you might be interested, check to see if they offer majors in religion or religious studies, and finally determine if they are related to a particular church, are interdenominational, or are secular.
Many public colleges and universities also offer majors in religious studies. Again, there don’t seem to be any lists, so it’s a matter of finding colleges you might like and then determining whether or not they have majors in religious studies.

What denomination is the Calvary chapel movement?
I know it’s technically non denominational but what do u think it would be.

According to research, the Calvary Chapel church movement was born out of a trailer park in Costa Mesa, California in the early 1960s. In 1965, the church hired Chuck Smith as its pastor. Under his leadership, the church has grown into a fellowship of over 1300 churches, making it one of the ten largest Protestant denominations/associations in the United States. Calvary Chapel churches are known for their vibrant worship, systematic Bible teaching, and strong missionary fervor.
Chuck Smith received his training at LIFE Bible College (now LIFE Pacific), and served for 17 years as a pastor in the Foursquare church before beginning his ministry in Costa Mesa.
