  • Scott Stapp is featured on this episode of the Life Today TV Show with James Robison.  In this video, the former Creed frontman tells his prodigal story and how the seeds of Scripture led to his return to God.  He is a singer-songwriter and philanthropist.

About Scott Stapp

Stapp is the former lead singer of the Grammy Award-winning rock band Creed and founder of the With Arms Wide Open Foundation, a nonprofit organization with a mission to help underprivileged children and families around the world. The foundation has donated over $1 million to various causes.

He has received several accolades, including a Grammy Award for Creed’s song “With Arms Wide Open” and numerous RIAA certifications. With the publication in 2012 of Sinner’s Creed (Book), his autobiography, Scott detailed his struggles with drugs, alcohol, and depression. It paved the way for his Proof of Life album.

As someone who has received the help of others, Scott Stapp is a mentor to those who still struggle and, in gratitude, he ‘pays it forward’ through his own With Arms Wide Open Foundation, which helps military vets and their families with issues of drug addiction, PTSD-triggered mental health issues, and suicide prevention.
