Maria asks…

What are some good Catholic/Christian movies?

Just wondering… It can be about the lives of saints, Jesus Christ, the Eucharist, etc. Especially movies for kids and teens.

My faves are Fireproof and Facing the Giants but I want to find more movies to watch.

Cee Harmon answers:

Maria,

I would strongly recommend “Jesus of Nazareth“. It was approved by the Catholic church, yet does not contain much of

anything in the way of Constantine’s incorporation of pagan goddess (Diana) worship into the state religion of Rome, which the GOD of the Holy Scriptures speaks so strongly against.  Check out the video below:

His beliefs are his own, and yours are for you. You be helping him by telling him what he beleives is wrong… as you have no proof of yours nor his. If he brings it up, you may cast your opinion but never present him as wrong and you as right as there is no more evidence either way.

Agnosticism is split into two groups. Agnostic-atheists, do not believe there is an existence of God, but do not deny the possibility of there being so. Agnostic-theists believe there is a God but do not claim to know that there definitely is one that exists. I am a Catholic myself, but personally it seems Agnostic-theists point of view is very open minded in the fact that they are not bold enough to completely deny the existence of a God.
