Love INC is changing lives in Danville, Illinois. They have 25 partner churches in Vermilion County that share their resources to help people in need. It’s part of a Christian national outreach organization based in Minneapolis, MN (USA). Love Inc Love INC was founded in 1977, by Dr. Virgil Gulker, as a way to encourage churches to become more engaged with people with needs in their community.
In 1988, they became an operating department of World Vision U.S., an international Christian relief and development organization. They grew rapidly and in 2001, Love INC became its own national nonprofit organization. As of 2013, they have 157 affiliates in 30 states that represent a network of more than 8,600 churches, 9,200 community-based organizations and 100,000 volunteers meeting more than 1.6 million needs last year.
