Ellison is an American businessman and entrepreneur, the co-founder and CEO of the software company, Oracle Corporation which earned him the title of the fifth wealthiest person in the world in 2014.

As of June 2018, Ellison was listed as the fourth wealthiest person in the US and the eighth wealthiest person in the world by Forbes magazine with a net worth of more than $54.5 billion dollars.
