About Children’s Hunger Fund

Since 1991, Children’s Hunger Fund has assisted local churches to deliver hope to children in need around the world. 97% of CHF’s total contributions—over 1 billion dollars in food and other aid—have been distributed through programs serving more than 20 million children across America and around the world.

Through strategic partnerships in targeted communities, CHF works to improve the lives of poor children and their families comprehensively, meeting their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. They distribute Food Paks and other aid through local churches so that they may deliver hope to suffering children and families in their communities.

About President and Founder Dave Phillips

His first job after graduating from Westmont College was at a relief organization, World Opportunities International. The devastating poverty Dave witnessed at a children’s hospital in Honduras changed him forever.

With a shared passion to impact the next generation and help local churches build relationships with poor children in their communities, Dave and his wife Lynn founded Children’s Hunger Fund, first distributing food and aid from their garage.
