0:00 hi my name is kheita Davis I’m from 0:02 Rochester New York when I first start 0:07 listening to Klove I listen to Casting 0:10 Crowns praise you in this storm and I 0:13 wondered how people could praise God 0:15 when things were going wrong I teach in 0:17 the inner city and I was teaching in a 0:18 situation where my students were 0:20 fundamentally unsafe and my job is to 0:23 keep them safe so I really struggled and 0:27 then this past year I went through a 0:29 really horrendous betrayal at work last 0:33 winter and was really persecuted and on 0:39 top of that I got some news from two 0:42 different doctors and it was really 0:45 devastating had to have major surgery 0:46 last June just things went from bad to 0:49 worse and I’m like Lord how do I keep 0:51 praising you through this but the 0:54 Casting Crowns song is one example of 0:56 where i actually the lyrics of the song 0:59 from somebody who been through something 1:01 in their life gave me literally words to 1:04 say words to sing to God about my 1:07 situation and it it helped me walk 1:10 through and it’s helping me walk through 1:11 today and today I can say that I’ll 1:14 praise you in this storm I will lift my 1:18 hands you are who you are no matter 1:22 where I am and every tear I’ve cried you 1:27 hold in your hand it’s been a while I’ll 1:33 praise you in this storm 1:36 [Music]
