The Steve and Marjorie Harvey Foundation: Their mission is to provide outreach to fatherless children and young adults, by promoting educational enrichment, one-on-one mentoring and global service initiatives that will cultivate the next generation of responsible leaders.
About The Steve and Marjorie Harvey Foundation
They strive to deliver relevant programs for youth that will aid in their successful development; provide educational scholarships for children with defined criteria and track the success of programs related to education; and introduce and pair children to community leaders as mentors; through group and one-on-one mentoring programs.
They partner and build alliances with public and private organizations to provide opportunities and resources that will broaden our children’s experiences via internships, employment and community programs that strengthen their intellectual, health and social well being.
The Steve Harvey Mentoring Program (SHMP) is designed to share and teach the principles of manhood. The mentoring program helps young men realize their potential and envision & prepare for a strong productive future.
Girls Who Rule the World (GWRTW) is designed to enhance the development of young girls and provide a forum to expose them to the benefits and importance of positive self-image, responsible conduct and respect for self.
